Giacomo Wannenes is a reputed expert of french and italian XVIIIth century decorative arts, author of many titles published also in France an in the U.K. In 1969 he opens his gallery in Via Manzoni in Milan. The deep knowledge guides the selection of works of art, furniture and objects of the diverse french and italian artistic production with highlights on Louis XV and Louis XVI styles and on eighteenth and nineteenth century european paintings.

In 1991 after a master in interior design Aurélie Wannenes extends the interest of the gallery proposing furniture and objects of the XXth century from Art Déco to the rationalism of the 50’s, to design. All the works of art are the result of a competent choice which reflects the desire of modern living and the international taste of the period in which these artworks were born. Objects and furniture both anonimous and by the major designers and architects such as: Giò Ponti, Fornasetti, Gianfranco Frattini, Ico Parisi, just to name a few.
The gallery has participated and participates to major exhibits such as:
Biennale de Paris, Materpiece London, Biennale di Roma, Biennale di Firenze.
